Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers
A CO2 fire extinguisher is suitable for extinguishing burning liquids, like gasoline, oil and grease. It is also very suitable for extinguishing burning electrical equipment.
CO2 extinguishes a fire by smothering it. CO2 snow formed by the nozzle and snow spout enhance the extinguishing effect. CO2 does not conduct electricity and it withstands freezing temperature. The storage and operating temperature of a CO2 fire extinguisher is -30°C - +60°C.
